Question: I am travelling to new york city. where do i buy good leather handbags - mid price not high end designer?

I love handbags (as does my mum). i want an elegant, distinctive handbag made of good quality soft leather. it doesn't have to be a high end designer brand (probably can't afford that) but i don't want cheap and nasty either.

Are you from the Uk? If so check out the river island website they sell great handbag on their, mainly for £30 they also sell more expensive leather bags for about £70. Also by the pictures on the websites by some items it says "love this " so the website picks out the more fashionable ones.
